who

WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Bela Balog. I was born in 1970 and live and work in Budapest (Hungary). I started out as a musician, but I ended up with fine arts and digital art within that. This is filling my time today, I live for it. I was always only really happy when I could express myself.

Who are your favourite artists?

what

What themes does your art focus on?

For all the information I come across. It could be a newspaper news or a photo, a story, or things that happened in my environment. Everyday is inspiring.

What is your hallmark as an artist?

Elaboration of detail and richness of colors. These are all necessary to tell the stories. Because all my pictures are a whole story.

What music or other audio do you listen to while you work?

Although I am an educated classical musician, I listen to anything depending on my mood. From Mozart to jazz or to rock music.

when

When did you decide that art was part of you and your life?

This is not tied to an exact date. Years ago, I started creating listtle digital pictures of myself. At first they were very simple and then I gradually experimented with my own technique and started with my art.

where

Where do you work on your artwork?

In my apartment in my own studio where I create. No one there bothers me. When I work, my family respects that too.

Where would you like to see your artworks exhibited?

Fortunately, I have been and will be exhibiting in many galleries in several countries. The possibility of Artebinaria is fantastic for me.

why

Why do you make art?

I tell stories. If these stories get people’s attention, it’s a great pleasure for me.

Why do you think art is important in our society?

Because it is part of our culture, because it is part of our community culture. The ability to express oneself is one of the most important qualities of a person. To be free, it is absolutely necessary.
