Artinside Gallery, June 2020

From 1 to 30 June 2020, Gro Folkan (Norway), Rachel Mohawege (Lebanon, Austria), Francesca Lugli (Italy), Irina Laube (Germany), Massimo Giordano (Italy) exhibit their works in Artinside Gallery, the first art gallery without walls, in augmented reality.
The art exhibition is curated by Maddalena Grazzini.

Gro Folkan studied art at National Art Academy, Oslo. She travelled extensively in Europe, usa, Asia, and studied to develop technique suitable for my purpose. Her pictures are instruments, like runes, used for thousand of  years by Northern people, to invoke hidden aspects of reality. The real pictures, the images are not the lines and colours on my canvases, but the images coming into being in the mind of the onlooker.

Originally from Lebanon, Rachel Mohawege moved to Austria at age 5, which is her home ever since. She focuses on the inner Goddess of a woman radiating her Majestic, strong and sensual identity through her unbendable piercing gaze. Her long neck emphasizes her elegance, the paradox of fragility (the thin breakable line holding the heavy crowned head) and power (the strong bridge between heart and brain).

Francesca Carpi focuses on Emotional Drawing, as a form of communication and direct expression. This method uses colors as a verb to communicate emotions. She is an artist who is constantly looking for simple, true and pure communication.

Irina Laube is an experienced Russian painter, based in Germany. She is inspired by nature in all its facets – land, sea and sky, memory and emotion, past and present. Out of these inspirations form fascinating and sometimes-abstract landscapes, each leaping from the canvas with emotional power and visual vibrancy.

Massimo Giordano – professional photographer, presents part of the project “Extra time”. A trip thunderstorm seen through a single subject: the stairs, even where they are they are not physically present.
