Ilona Hendriks (Netherlands) With a 30 year career as professional dancer and creative director in the event business, Ilona  decided in 2001 to explore new ways of expressing herself. To widen her horizon she studied paint at the academy and learned by doing. A moving theatrical background dissolving in powerful, dynamic abstract paintings. Canvas and paint instead of Dancers and stage. “Paint happens; Wherever we have spoken openly we have, actually, said nothing. But where we have written something in code and in pictures we have concealed the truth.

Grace McKee (USA). Grace’s passion for colour is evident in her paintings. Her painting is representational though tending towards impressionism, with lots of colour and abundant paint.  Grace paints a wide variety of subjects ranging from landscapes, animals and florals to still life, portraits and nudes. Grace now lives and paints in France.

Seona Sommer (Germany). Figurative artist Seona Sommer lives and works in Cologne, Germany. She has been painting since 2004 and is predominantly self-taught. Her works haven been exhibited all over Germany and in other European countries. They have also been published in art magazines internationally. The artist has always been fascinated by the diversity of humankind and the the complexity of emotions. In her artwork, she combines techniques used in realism and hyperrealism with her usually positive feelings about the portrayed person. The result on the canvas always shows her own emotionally perceived reality. She calls her work Emotional Realism therefore.

Walter Rast (Netherlands). Born 1965, Maasdijk. Education Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten, den Haag. The use of materials plays an important role in all of Walter Rast’s work. He uses a range of techniques to apply sand, cement, pure pigments, metal and paper to his paintings, and give them a layered, lived-in appearance.

Kostello’s Art (Eirini Kostelidou) (Greece). I am proudly self-taught, and I create each work with no preconceived outcome in mind, working primarily with fluid acrylics along with other mediums. My style allows the viewer to experience the artwork through the color combinations, and other techniques, I experiment with various mediums, learning what they could do, and I try to develop my own techniques, that give my work a unique quality. Developing my own style, I have the freedom to follow my colorful brain.
